Congregation size.. implications and insights?

Over the past twenty years researchers have studied the way congregations of different sizes respond to ministry opportunities and manage their tasks. Congregation size.. implications and insights?

Over the past twenty years researchers have studied the way congregations of different sizes respond to ministry opportunities and manage their tasks. Some small or neighbourhood congregations work like an extended family, others with larger memberships need to manage change and communication differently.

At our August Gathering we will be interviewing leaders of three neighbourhood size congregations in Adelaide’s inner southern suburbs. We are asking them to share something of the challenges they face, their strengths and explore opportunities for expanding ministry to their local communities.

This session may be able to draw on the results of the National Church Life Survey and this will depend on the release dates of the findings.

The Network Gathering will be held on Thursday 23rd August, 6.00 pm for 6.30 pm, at Church of the Trinity, 318 Goodwood Rd, Clarence Park. RSVP (for catering purposes) to Helena by Monday 20th August, phone 8331 9344 email office@morialtauca.org.au
